The Kodak Portra family has been the world’s most popular colour film for photographers. Since then, brilliant minds have developed numerous variations of the iconic look into Lightroom presets making it accessible for any photographer. Unfortunately, there is a lack of the same resources for videographers looking to achieve the same Portra expression through their footage.
We’ve made it possible to digitally emulate real inspired Kodak Portra film looks, and transfer it into video LUTs. Now videographers can utilise the signature colourways and closely resemble it’s original look!

KODAK PORTRA LUTs function best with already colour corrected footage. For recommendation, apply a primary grade or a conversion LUT provided by your camera’s manufacturer - found on most drivers/download pages.

Don’t worry if these LUTs don’t perform like magic with just one button. Kodak Portra LUTs only act as a base grade for your footage, I recommend fine tuning with the colour adjustments to your liking.

Kodak Portra 800 — The Kodak Professional Portra 800 film delivers well balanced colour saturation, & fine structuring. For natural skin tone reproduction, and enhanced colour in the most difficult lighting, Portra 800 is the ideal candidate!
